Full Stack Engineer

Monks is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic business development and strategy team in San Diego, United States. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to our organization's success through technological innovation and execution across multiple initiatives.

As a senior full-stack software engineer, you will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to plan, design, build, and deploy high-quality web applications and APIs. Your responsibilities will include independently designing and implementing reliable web solutions, writing testable code with comprehensive test coverage, participating in architectural and technical decisions, utilizing software engineering pipeline tools, and researching and developing new technologies.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of professional experience, preferably within a team environment. Deep knowledge of React, TypeScript, and JavaScript (Node) is essential, along with experience deploying containerized services to cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud. Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, a proven track record in designing and maintaining critical web-based software, and excellent organizational and communication skills are also required.

Monks offers a competitive salary range of $125,925 to $131,738 USD for this position.
