Fuels Licensing Manager

The Fuels Licensing Manager at Oklo is responsible for applying nuclear regulatory knowledge to support engineering development and ensure compliance with U.S. nuclear regulations. This role involves close collaboration with design engineers to interpret and inform the design basis, contributing to the company's mission of delivering clean, reliable, and affordable energy through advanced fission power plants.

Key responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and maintaining licensing documents for Oklo's fuel fabrication and recycling technologies. The manager will plan and execute complex assignments within a team environment, support project management of licensing activities, and coordinate with design engineers to ensure regulatory compliance. Additionally, the role involves interfacing with nuclear regulators, defending Oklo's licensing positions, and leading the resolution of strategic licensing issues.

Candidates should possess a BS in engineering or related experience, with knowledge of 10 CFR 70 and NRC Regulatory Guides. Demonstrated coordination skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent communication abilities are essential. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean energy, adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment, and capable of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

Oklo offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $166,000, dependent on experience.
