Freelance Content Manager - Riyadh

Monks is seeking a detail-oriented Freelance Content Manager to oversee content planning, creation, and publishing for a major aviation client's digital platforms during a 2-3 month project. This role is integral to our delivery team, ensuring all web and mobile app content is accurate, timely, and adheres to brand, regulatory, and UX standards. The position requires daily on-site work at the client's office near King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end content authoring for web and mobile experiences, translating briefs and product updates into user-focused content, and collaborating with UX, design, product, and development teams to maintain consistent messaging. The role also involves ensuring compliance with aviation-specific standards, maintaining content calendars and documentation, applying best practices in accessibility and SEO, performing quality assurance, and monitoring performance insights for continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has over three years of experience in content management or digital content operations, preferably within regulated industries. Proficiency with enterprise CMS platforms and app content publishing tools is essential, along with strong writing and editing skills adaptable to various customer journeys. Familiarity with UX writing principles, mobile-first content standards, and the ability to manage multiple workflows in fast-paced environments are also required. Experience in the aviation industry or with global travel brands is a plus.
