Founding Recruiter – Technical Recruiting

Interface AI is seeking a Founding Technical Recruiter to collaborate directly with the company's founders and technical leadership in scaling the Technology teams. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape the technical standards, hiring philosophy, and team composition during a significant growth phase.

The Founding Technical Recruiter will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for technical positions across various domains, including Engineering, AI/ML, Product, Platform, DevOps, and Security. Key duties involve partnering closely with founders and senior technical leaders to define roles and hiring strategies, proactively sourcing high-quality candidates, conducting in-depth screening conversations, designing structured interview processes, and driving hiring decisions. The role requires the ability to manage priorities independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

Candidates should possess 4–8 years of technical recruiting experience in similar environments, with demonstrated experience in startup or scale-up settings, ideally at Series B–D stages. A strong preference is given to those with experience recruiting Go-To-Market talent for AI or Customer Experience companies. The role demands proven ability to work directly with founders and senior technical leaders, self-management skills, comfort operating with ambiguity, and an outcome-oriented approach. Willingness to be on-site in Palo Alto and act as a culture carrier is essential.

This position offers a base salary ranging from $180,000 to $200,000, complemented by a bonus and $200,000 in equity.
