Formulation Scientist - HPLC
Eurofins is seeking a Formulation Scientist specializing in High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Formulation Scientist will be responsible for conducting in-process sample testing, including assessments of density, viscosity, appearance, UV spectrophotometry, pH, osmolality, particulate matter, protein content, and HPLC analyses such as Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC) and Polysorbate 80 quantification. The role also involves setting up and operating laboratory equipment, preparing buffers and calibration solutions, managing sample receipt and data generation, and ensuring proper documentation and instrument maintenance.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related life science field, along with over four years of directly related industry experience. Alternatively, a Master's or Ph.D. degree with at least two years of relevant industry experience is acceptable. Essential skills include excellent communication, attention to detail, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and proficiency in aseptic techniques and parenteral formulation.
This full-time position offers a standard schedule from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with potential for overtime, weekend, and holiday work based on business needs.
