Formulation Scientist

Eurofins is seeking a Formulation Scientist to join our team, focusing on supporting both Manufacturing and R&D efforts through formulation and pre-formulation activities. This role involves analyzing and characterizing samples to aid in the development of oral solid dosage forms, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality pharmaceutical products.

Key responsibilities include planning and executing small-scale manufacturing processes such as blending, compression, coating, and encapsulation. The scientist will perform product and material characterization activities, including particle size analysis, tablet performance testing, and rheological assessments. Additionally, the role involves interpreting experimental data, contributing to laboratory reports, and supporting the design and optimization of drug product formulations and manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline, with a strong understanding of Organic Chemistry principles applicable to pharmaceutical drug design. Experience in Material Science and familiarity with analytical tools and characterization techniques are essential. Proficiency in traditional analytical methods and modern instrumental techniques, such as particle size analysis, PXRD, DSC, and TGA, is required.
