Formation Process Equipment Technician
The Formation Process Equipment Technician at Factorial Energy plays a pivotal role in the daily operations of the company's formation process equipment, including Electrolyte Filling, Formation Charging/Discharging, Degassing, Folding, OCV testing, and X-Ray inspection machines for silicon anode pouch cell lines. This position is based at the Cheonan site in South Korea and is integral to ensuring the stability and efficiency of the production line.
Key responsibilities encompass performing daily startup inspections, conducting standardized operations, troubleshooting breakdowns, and executing routine preventive maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime. The technician will also adjust on-site process parameters to address common defects, support equipment acceptance tests, assist in new product verification, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment abnormalities.
Candidates should possess a college diploma or higher in Mechatronics, Mechanical Maintenance, Electrical Automation, or related technical fields, with at least two years of hands-on experience in lithium battery formation and post-process workshops. Proficiency in equipment maintenance, rapid breakdown diagnosis, and parameter fine-tuning is essential. Familiarity with servo motion, pneumatic control, precision testing, and machine vision principles is advantageous.
