Forensic Toxicology Apprentice (BSc Degree Apprenticeship)
Eurofins Forensic Services (EFS) is seeking a Forensic Toxicology Apprentice to join their team in Feltham. This four-year apprenticeship combines practical laboratory experience with academic study, culminating in a fully funded BSc Chemical Science degree from Manchester Metropolitan University. The apprentice will begin by handling the receipt, registration, and preparation of forensic exhibits. Over the course of the program, responsibilities will expand to include various extraction methods, operation of analytical instruments, and processing of case data within the toxicology laboratory. The role requires balancing work duties with dedicated study time, including weekly online learning and an annual residential week at the university.
Candidates should possess 104 UCAS points at A-Level (grade BCC), including chemistry or an equivalent scientific discipline, or an equivalent Level 3 qualification. Additionally, a minimum of five GCSEs at grades 9-5, including Science, Maths, and English Language, is required. Applicants must also secure admission to the university course after receiving an offer from EFS.
