Financial Reconciliation Specialist
As a Financial Reconciliation Specialist at EBANX, you will play a pivotal role within the Cost Controlling team, ensuring the company's financial stability across its global operations. EBANX is a leading payments platform operating in over 29 countries, connecting major companies to millions of consumers in emerging markets. This position is based in Curitiba, Brazil, and requires on-site presence.
Your primary responsibilities will include systematically investigating agreements with providers to ensure settlement rules, fees, and other costs align with received amounts. You will lead efforts to uncover and map any hidden fees or administrative costs, requiring advanced data analysis and collaboration across various teams and time zones. Additionally, you will establish processes to translate complex findings into actionable insights, providing clear operational guidelines to prevent systemic errors. Creating specialized dashboards and reports for management to quantify expected versus actual receivables will also be a key part of your role.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in financial analysis, reconciliation, or investigative accounting. Proficiency in Advanced Excel and SQL is essential, along with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering. Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory to facilitate cross-border communication. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills are required, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
