Financial Crime Quality Assurance Lead
The Senior Quality Assurance Adviser – Financial Crime at Herbert Smith Freehills is a pivotal role within the firm's Financial Crime Advisory team. The adviser will analyze quality assurance results to provide actionable insights and recommendations, establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics, and collaborate with internal teams to address identified weaknesses through targeted training, policy refinements, or process improvements.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in law, business, finance, criminology, risk management, or a related discipline. Postgraduate qualifications in financial crime compliance, anti-money laundering, risk management, or quality assurance are advantageous. A minimum of three years' experience in quality assurance, financial crime compliance, regulatory risk, or audit roles is required, preferably within a law firm, financial institution, or other entity subject to the UK's AML/CTF regime. Professional certifications or training in AML/CTF, risk management, or quality assurance methodologies are also beneficial.
