Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst at LendingTree plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of monthly financial reports and maintaining real-time forecasts. This position is integral to the annual planning process, long-term model maintenance, and generating actionable insights into ongoing business trends. The role is based in Charlotte, NC, with an in-office presence required three days a week.

Key responsibilities include developing, enhancing, and maintaining financial analyses, budgets, and forecasts for various cost centers. The analyst will prepare weekly performance reports and monthly headcount and expense summaries to monitor financial health and organizational growth. Additionally, the role supports business line management by evaluating new strategic initiatives through financial modeling and due diligence.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; an MBA is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, preferably with a public company, is required. Experience supporting Marketing and/or Product functions is highly desirable. Proficiency in advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Hyperion Essbase are essential.
