Financial Accountat

WPP Media is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its finance team in Helsinki, Finland. As part of WPP's AI-driven media operating unit, WPP Media integrates media, data, and partnerships to deliver creative personalization at scale. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the company's financial operations within an international environment.

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing monthly and annual closing processes, accounting for two legal entities, posting purchase invoices and bank statements, handling intercompany invoicing, preparing outgoing payments, project invoicing, VAT reporting, and conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual SOX controls. Additionally, the role involves participating in development projects related to process automation.

Candidates should possess fluent written and spoken Finnish and English skills, with Swedish language proficiency considered an advantage. A strong understanding of Finnish accounting standards, at least three years of accounting experience, and a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field are required. Proficiency in Excel and experience using it as a reporting tool are also essential.
