Field Trial Technician (m/f/d)
The Field Trial Technician (m/f/d) at Eurofins Agroscience Group plays a crucial role in conducting field and laboratory studies to assess the safety and efficacy of new substances and organisms for humans and the environment. As part of a leading European service provider, the technician will join a team of experts specializing in global field studies, worker exposure studies, ecotoxicology, product chemistry, and environmental fate studies.
Key responsibilities include performing field assessments and data collection related to plant development, health, and yield. The technician will independently plan, execute, and supervise field trials, operate modern agricultural machinery and digital systems for sowing, crop management, and harvesting, and document, evaluate, and manage trial results. Ensuring trial quality and adherence to standards and deadlines is also essential.
Candidates should have completed vocational training as an Agricultural Technical Assistant, Plant Technologist, Farmer, or Master Craftsman, or hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences, Crop Production, Agronomy, or a related field. Practical experience in field trials or crop production is advantageous. A technical understanding and interest in modern trial technology, an independent and reliable working style, teamwork skills, willingness to work outdoors, proficiency in MS Office, and a valid Class B driving license (Class T or BE is a plus) are required.
