Field Technician - Eurofins Environment Testing, Middleboro, MA
Eurofins is seeking a Field Technician to join our Environment Testing team in Middleborough, MA. This role involves collecting drinking water samples from local businesses and residential homes, contributing to our mission of ensuring environmental safety and public health. Eurofins Scientific is a global leader in analytical testing services, operating over 900 laboratories across 60 countries.
The Field Technician will be responsible for planning and completing daily sample collection routes, preparing and delivering sample containers to clients, and transporting samples back to the laboratory. Additional duties include setting up and troubleshooting sample collection equipment, performing on-site testing, and maintaining accurate documentation of all activities. The role requires adherence to OSHA safety standards and company health and safety policies.
Candidates should have 2-4 years of experience in environmental and monitoring well sampling, though training is available for those without prior experience. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential, as the position involves operating a company vehicle. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks such as standing, climbing stairs, and bending. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities are also important.
The position offers a compensation range of $17 to $19 per hour, based on field experience, along with full benefits. The work schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with potential for overtime as needed.
