Field Specialist
BESIX Unitec is seeking a dedicated Field Specialist to join their Infra Automation Netherlands division, focusing on delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions. In this role, the Field Specialist will ensure top-tier service across various domains, including Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), Electrical (E), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. Responsibilities encompass diagnosing and resolving complex malfunctions efficiently to minimize installation downtime, collaborating closely with clients to enhance their installations through proactive proposals and implementation projects, and meticulously documenting performed tasks, malfunctions, and solutions to improve installations and client satisfaction. Effective teamwork and communication with internal and external stakeholders are essential to maintain service quality.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's, HBO, or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Technology, or Automation, with 5 to 8 years of engineering experience in the sector, preferably in hydraulic engineering or lock construction. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are crucial, along with knowledge of construction regulations and standards. The ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment is also important.
