Moniepoint is seeking a diligent and ethically grounded professional to join our team as a Field Risk & Internal Control Officer in the North Central region. This role serves as a critical link between our risk oversight framework and field operations, ensuring that our Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) adhere to internal control standards and company policies. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our field operations.

The primary responsibilities of this position include leading targeted investigations into suspected misconduct such as double-dealing, agent impersonation, unauthorized onboarding, and unethical field behavior. The officer will conduct unannounced field inspections to verify BRM claims and agent statuses, ensuring compliance with company policies. Additionally, the role involves analyzing BRM activity reports and operational metrics to detect irregularities, assessing the effectiveness of internal controls, and recommending enhancements to close control gaps.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Internal Control, Business Administration, Finance, Criminology, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience in internal control, field audit, risk monitoring, or investigative roles within financial services, fintech, or agent networks. Essential skills include a strong investigative mindset, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, high integrity, discretion in managing sensitive information, and proficiency in Excel and basic analytics tools. Prior exposure to agent banking, POS distribution networks, or BRM performance frameworks is preferred, as is experience managing whistleblowing complaints or conducting workplace misconduct investigations.
