Field CTO - AI & Enterprise Modernization
The Field CTO - AI & Enterprise Modernization at Celonis serves as a high-impact technical advisor to strategic prospects and customers, translating complex business transformations into scalable technical strategies. This role is integral to driving innovation by championing Process Intelligence, Agentic AI, and Enterprise Modernization, ensuring that Celonis' technology aligns with the evolving needs of the global market.
Key responsibilities include serving as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, aligning their long-term strategic goals with Celonis' technical vision. The Field CTO leads overarching data, cloud, and innovation strategies for large global accounts, utilizing methodologies like Capability Mapping to identify high-value opportunities. Additionally, the role involves architecting innovative solutions using emergent technologies such as Agentic AI to address complex enterprise challenges.
The ideal candidate possesses 15 to 20 years of relevant experience, ideally having served as a CTO/CIO within a major corporation or as a Field CTO at a major software vendor. A proven track record of presenting complex technical visions to C-suite stakeholders, deep experience in Enterprise Modernization and EA Methodologies, and a robust understanding of Agentic AI are essential. Technical versatility, including a strong background in Data Architecture, API ecosystems, and cloud-native SaaS solutions like Salesforce and ServiceNow, is also required. An MSc degree in Computer Science or an equivalent IT-related field is necessary.
