Female Technician, Facility Management
The Female Technician, Facility Management role at Six Construct Abu Dhabi involves ensuring the reliable operation, safety, and efficiency of facility systems. As part of the Facility Management department, the technician will work within a team dedicated to maintaining and improving the performance of commercial and residential buildings, sport and leisure facilities, infrastructure, and marine-related projects. Key responsibilities include performing routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, as well as responding promptly to breakdowns and service requests to minimize operational disruptions. The technician will diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and escalate issues to specialized contractors when necessary. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems, ensuring all work complies with relevant safety standards, codes, and company policies, and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and safety checks.
The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering, along with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and the ability to read technical drawings and manuals are essential. Good communication and teamwork skills are also required. A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a similar technical role is necessary, with experience in school or educational facility environments considered a plus.
