Federal Capture & Proposal Strategist
Peregrine Technologies is seeking a Federal Capture & Proposal Strategist to enhance its engagement with federal government missions. This role involves early opportunity shaping, leading capture strategies, and crafting winning proposals that will significantly influence the company's long-term impact. The strategist will collaborate closely with Peregrine's leadership, product teams, and federal partners to position the company effectively within critical federal initiatives.
Key responsibilities include leading the full lifecycle of strategic federal pursuits, from initial opportunity identification through proposal submission and award. The strategist will own capture plans, stakeholder mapping, and win strategies, guiding pursuits from early engagement through Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and award stages. Additionally, the role involves building relationships with mission owners, program offices, and acquisition leaders to influence requirements and solution framing before RFP release.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience leading capture efforts for federal technology programs and a strong understanding of federal procurement processes, including budgets, acquisition timelines, vehicles, and evaluation criteria. Exceptional proposal writing skills are essential, along with the ability to produce compliant submissions under deadline pressure. The strategist should be adept at translating technical capabilities into mission outcomes and comfortable working with executives, acquisition officials, and mission operators. A proactive approach, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate ambiguity are crucial for success in this role.
The position offers a salary range of $105,000 to $125,000 annually, along with benefits, equity options, and potential bonuses. Actual compensation will be influenced by factors such as skill set, level of experience, and specific work location.
