Box is seeking a Federal Account Executive to join its Department of Defense (DoD) Sales team, focusing on the U.S. Army. This field-based role is located in the Washington, DC Metro or Mid-Atlantic area. Box is a leader in Intelligent Content Management, providing a platform that enables organizations to manage the entire content lifecycle, enhance collaboration, and transform business workflows with enterprise AI.

The Federal Account Executive will be responsible for sourcing and closing new business within the Federal Government vertical, specifically targeting the Army. Key duties include researching and understanding customer needs, building and executing strategic account plans for DoD enterprise customers, driving new sales and expanding existing business across DoD programs and agencies, and partnering with system integrators and channel partners to pursue large-scale programs. The role also involves navigating procurement processes such as OTAs, IDIQs, BPAs, and sole-source vehicles, serving as a trusted advisor to DoD leaders, and collaborating with internal teams to win pursuits.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of successful sales experience, with a minimum of 4 years dedicated to building relationships and selling into the Army. A deep understanding of DoD procurement processes, budgeting, and acquisition cycles is essential. Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills are required, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. Experience in ECM, Cloud, or SaaS Federal DoD sales is preferred.

The position offers a competitive compensation package, with an on-target earnings (OTE) range between $277,000 and $346,000, depending on factors such as knowledge, skill level, experience, and work location.
