The Facilities Services Manager at Public Storage is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of a multi-state facilities portfolio. This role involves receiving, prioritizing, and assigning maintenance work orders to internal technicians and external vendors, aligning facilities services with organizational goals and service standards.

Key responsibilities include receiving, prioritizing, and dispatching maintenance work orders based on urgency, location, technician availability, and business priorities. The manager routes and coordinates internal maintenance technicians to ensure timely and effective service delivery and assigns and manages external vendors when required to meet operational demands.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with additional technical or vocational training being a plus. A minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance coordination, facilities management, project management, or a related field is required. Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities, are essential. Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and related tools, the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage emergency situations, and a solid understanding of maintenance procedures, equipment, and facilities operations are also necessary. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a company vehicle are required.
