Facilities Manager
The Facilities Manager at Public Storage plays a pivotal role in overseeing the maintenance and enhancement of a diverse portfolio of properties. This role also involves reviewing construction drawings, developing project budgets, maintaining schedules, and negotiating contracts with general contractors.
Candidates should have at least five years of experience in commercial construction management, preferably overseeing asset management and large-scale renovations. A strong background in project accounting, including budget development and contract management, is essential. Excellent negotiation and communication skills are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. An undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year university is preferred.
The base pay range for this position is $115,000 to $127,000 annually, with potential for additional discretionary bonuses or incentives. Public Storage offers a collaborative work environment, with employees expected to work in the office five days each week, while having the option to take up to three flexible remote days per month.
