Facilities & Building Management Supervisor
The Facilities & Building Management Supervisor at Cermaticom is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Facilities & Building Management team and technicians. This role ensures that all company locations, including the Head Office, Operations Office, Regional Offices, and Training Center, provide a safe, comfortable, and productive work environment in line with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
Key responsibilities include supervising and managing the Facilities & Building Management team, conducting performance evaluations, and planning capability development for team members. The supervisor will manage all aspects of facilities management across assigned locations, analyze and improve office efficiency by planning and implementing systems and layouts, and take full responsibility for managing renovation (fit-out) projects. Additionally, the role involves overseeing and coordinating external vendors for maintenance, repairs, and facility development projects, as well as developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and preparing regular reports on facility conditions and budget usage.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Facility Management, with strong experience in facility, asset, or building management. A minimum of 5 years' experience in facilities management, preferably within the property or retail industries, and at least 4 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing technicians and/or building operations across multiple sites is highly preferred. The candidate should have a strong understanding of facility management standards and best practices, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building security, and other utility systems, as well as experience in renovation/fit-out projects, asset management, and preventive and corrective maintenance. Knowledge of HSE principles and experience in handling permits and technical compliance with local regulations are also essential.
