Event Manager - Sacramento (part-time)

Fever is seeking a part-time Event Manager to oversee its Candlelight Concerts in Sacramento, California. This role involves managing weekly events held on Wednesdays and Fridays, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences. Fever is a leading tech platform dedicated to democratizing access to culture and live entertainment through innovative technology and data-driven approaches.

The Event Manager will serve as the primary onsite contact for Candlelight events, coordinating directly with the Fever Originals manager. Responsibilities include scheduling and training staff, managing event logistics such as ticket validation and guest seating, overseeing inventory and supplies, and handling guest lists. Additionally, the role involves driving event supplies to and from venues and delivering opening and closing remarks during events.

Candidates should have at least one year of experience in event management or a related field, with a strong passion for live music and event organization. Exceptional customer service skills, experience leading onsite teams, and strong problem-solving abilities are essential. While knowledge of AV and PA systems is desirable, a valid driver's license is strongly preferred. The use of a personal laptop is required for this role.

The position offers a six-month contract with the possibility of extension, with weekly shifts varying from 4 to 8 hours per day, totaling a maximum of 29 hours per week. Compensation is $25 per hour. This role provides an opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing company, with potential to manage Candlelight and other Fever Original events in various locations.
