Event Manager
Black Duck Software, Inc. is seeking an Events Manager to enhance our brand presence across North America through impactful trade shows, hosted events, and virtual experiences. This role is integral to our marketing team, focusing on creating connections that drive pipeline growth and support our sales teams worldwide.
The Events Manager will plan and execute Black Duck's participation in trade shows, internal conferences, and seminars, ensuring our brand and story are effectively communicated. Responsibilities include coordinating vendors, managing budgets, tracking expenses, and overseeing all aspects of event execution from planning to follow-up. Collaboration with marketing, sales, and internal teams is essential to drive promotion, attendance, and engagement.
Candidates should have over two years of experience in event or field marketing within a B2B technology environment, a bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, and be willing to travel up to 50% to support events. Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills are required, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. A solid understanding of event best practices and performance measurement is also necessary.
