Eurofins Scientific is seeking an Analytical Equipment Specialist to ensure the optimal operation, reliability, and availability of laboratory analytical instruments. This role is integral to maintaining the continuity of laboratory operations, ensuring the stability of analytical methods, and upholding Eurofins' stringent quality, safety, and compliance standards.

The specialist will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on chromatographic and spectrometric systems, including HPLC, GC/MS, GC-MS/MS, and LC-MS/MS. Responsibilities encompass diagnosing equipment failures, conducting calibrations, executing performance tests (OQ/PQ), and meticulously documenting all interventions to maintain traceability. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with suppliers and manufacturers for advanced support and parts procurement, as well as implementing best practices for equipment use and maintenance.

Candidates must possess a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, or related fields, with proven experience in maintaining and troubleshooting analytical equipment, particularly HPLC (preferably Agilent), GC/MS, GC-MS/MS, and LC-MS/MS (preferably Sciex). A solid understanding of liquid and gas chromatography, mass spectrometry, and proficiency with data acquisition and processing software such as ChemStation, MassHunter, and Analyst are essential. Familiarity with BPL, ISO 17025, or GLP standards and the ability to comprehend technical documentation in English are also required.
