Ervaren Analist Forensische Toxicologie (m/v/x)
Eurofins Forensics Belgium is seeking an experienced Forensic Toxicology Analyst to join their laboratory in Brugge. Eurofins Forensics Belgium provides a broad spectrum of forensic analyses and services to support criminal investigations and judicial procedures.
In this role, you will analyze various sample types using preparation and analytical techniques, including liquid or gas chromatography and mass spectrometry. You will adhere to ISO/IEC 17025 quality standards, maintain and operate laboratory equipment according to procedures, and monitor internal and external quality controls. Collaborating with colleagues, you will analyze quality control results, implement corrective actions as needed, report non-conformities or process improvement opportunities, accurately handle administrative records, manage reagents, solvents, and waste, and support inventory management. Experience with medical laboratory technology (MLT) and PFAS is considered a plus.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's or master's degree in laboratory sciences and has at least two years of experience in a similar role. A strong background in chromatographic techniques and LC-MS is essential, along with extensive knowledge of daily management of analytical instruments within the laboratory. Key personal attributes include analytical thinking, precision, organization, and problem-solving skills. Adherence to safety regulations, ability to work both independently and collaboratively, clear communication in Dutch, initiative in information retrieval and processing, accurate analysis of measurement results, and recognition of deviations are also important. Experience working according to standard procedures in a BELAC-accredited environment is required.
