Environmental Specialist
Eurofins is seeking an Environmental Specialist to lead chemical and environmental management initiatives across the supply chain, from raw materials to finished products. This role is integral to Eurofins' commitment to sustainable supply chain practices and ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
The Environmental Specialist will be responsible for implementing and managing programs such as the HIGG Index and GTW within the supply chain, supporting suppliers in achieving long-term environmental goals. Key duties include auditing wet processing sites like textile mills, laundries, and leather tanneries to ensure they meet minimum requirements, managing the preferred supplier program for raw material supply chains, and coordinating with third-party testing labs to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field, or a diploma in Environmental Science. A minimum of 2-3 years of industrial experience with expertise in areas such as air, water, or waste management is required. Prior experience in chemical management, energy management, and water improvement is essential.
