The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager at Voyager Technologies, Inc. is responsible for overseeing and enhancing EHS programs across multiple sites, with a primary focus on manufacturing, laboratory, testing, and shop safety at the Reno, NV location. This role reports to the Director of Quality within the Operations department and is based onsite in Reno, NV. The EHS Manager plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety standards, contributing to the company's mission of delivering transformative, mission-critical solutions in defense, national security, and space technology.

Key responsibilities include managing various EHS programs, collaborating with Operations and Site Leadership to integrate EHS performance into business activities, and developing and maintaining EHS policies to ensure legal and regulatory compliance. The EHS Manager will oversee regulatory reporting requirements, analyze EHS performance indicators to recommend improvements, lead incident investigations to determine root causes and develop corrective actions, and conduct audits and inspections, presenting findings to management. Additionally, the role involves promoting a positive EHS culture across the site and developing and delivering EHS training programs as required.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight years of EHS experience and a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent experience. Demonstrated management and leadership skills are essential, along with experience in EHS program development, deployment, and maintenance. The candidate should have a strong background in leading incident investigations, conducting audits and inspections, and analyzing EHS performance indicators to recommend improvements. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to effectively communicate with clients, staff, suppliers, and program and executive management. The ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance is also necessary.
