Entry Level Lab Technician, Environmental Testing

Eurofins is seeking an Entry Level Lab Technician to join our Environmental Testing team. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work with a global leader in life sciences, providing analytical testing services across various industries. The role is based in Edison, New Jersey, and involves supporting laboratory operations through general maintenance of laboratory and supply storage areas, equipment, instruments, and supplies.

Key responsibilities include retrieving samples from Sample Control for analysis, performing sample preparation methods such as aliquoting, spiking, reagent preparation, and separation techniques. The technician will also resolve discrepancies to ensure proper sample labeling, prepare laboratory paperwork, wash glassware, stock supplies, and maintain a safe working environment. Assistance to other laboratory areas may be required as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma with chemistry coursework and basic laboratory experience. While a college degree is not required, laboratory experience is beneficial. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work independently, and manage time effectively. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

The position offers a compensation of $17.50 per hour, plus benefits and a 15% shift differential.
