Enterprise Security - Team Lead

The Enterprise Security - Team Lead at Canva will manage a team of security engineers focused on securing internal endpoints, networks, systems, and data utilized by all employees. This role involves developing and implementing strategies that balance security, compliance, and user experience, ensuring that Canva's internal systems remain both secure and efficient.

Key responsibilities include leading threat modeling exercises, overseeing the rollout of security tools, building internal security services, and collaborating with various departments such as IT, Sales, and Customer Support to integrate security measures into their workflows. The Team Lead will also drive the adoption of security systems internally and champion their benefits across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing and growing high-performing teams, a proven ability to threat model complex systems, and experience working with external stakeholders to deliver secure SaaS solutions. A strong understanding of internal IT environments and the surrounding security market, including topics like zero trust, identity providers, and mobile device management, is essential.
