The Enterprise Acquisition Account Executive at LaunchDarkly is responsible for driving the company's growth by acquiring new enterprise customers. In this role, you will act as the primary strategist for a defined territory, developing and executing comprehensive plans to generate new opportunities and deliver tailored solutions that showcase LaunchDarkly's value.

Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining detailed territory and account plans, securing consistent new opportunities through targeted outreach and account research, and achieving quarterly revenue and new logo acquisition targets. You will build strong relationships with champions and decision-makers, developing compelling business cases, and collaborate with Sales Development Representatives, Solutions Engineers, and other teams to ensure seamless execution and customer success.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of sales experience, focusing on net-new logo acquisition, with a proven track record of exceeding quotas and managing complex sales cycles. Experience in selling technical solutions to CIO/CTO-level personas in competitive or unbudgeted environments is essential. A strong understanding of IT infrastructure, organizational structures, and proficiency in sales methodologies like discovery frameworks and cost justifications are also required.

Compensation for this role varies based on geographic location. For Zone 1 (San Francisco/Bay Area or NYC Metropolitan Area, Boston, Seattle), the On Target Earnings (OTE) range from $269,000 to $370,000. In Zone 2 (Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, Chicago), the OTE ranges from $242,000 to $333,000. Zone 3 includes all other US locations, with OTE ranging from $229,000 to $314,000. These figures include base pay and commission, along with benefits such as Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits.
