Doctolib is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its Core Backend Foundations team (ATP) within the Platform domain. This team is responsible for developing and maintaining the shared Ruby on Rails backend foundations that support all product teams. The role involves ensuring the scalability, quality, and usability of these critical components, enabling product teams to build and deliver healthcare solutions efficiently.

In this position, the Engineering Manager will define the team's mission and vision in collaboration with product partners, establish a clear roadmap, and oversee the end-to-end delivery and quality of the team's outputs. Responsibilities include driving team growth and performance, participating in code reviews, leading cross-functional initiatives, and setting standards to meet security, reliability, performance, and scalability requirements.

Candidates should have at least 8 years of software engineering experience, including 4 years in management roles. Proficiency in Ruby on Rails is essential, along with familiarity with Java/Kotlin, TypeScript, and React. A strong understanding of testing practices, adaptability to efficient technologies, and experience in developing maintainable and secure products are required. Fluency in English is necessary; French language skills are a plus.
