Doctolib is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Core Backend team, ATP, responsible for building and maintaining the backend foundations of Doctolib's applicative services. As part of the Platform domain, ATP focuses on creating scalable and maintainable products that serve millions of users across Europe. The team operates in an agile environment, collaborating closely with engineering, design, and business teams to deliver innovative healthcare solutions.

In this role, the Engineering Manager will define the team's mission and vision, set clear roadmaps, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable backend components. Responsibilities include driving team performance, participating in code reviews, leading cross-functional initiatives, and establishing standards that exceed security, reliability, and performance requirements. The manager will also partner with product counterparts to align on objectives and oversee the team's overall delivery and quality.

The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of software engineering experience, including 4 years in management roles. Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Java/Kotlin, TypeScript, and React is essential, with a strong emphasis on code testing and adaptability to efficient technologies. Experience in developing efficient, maintainable, and secure products is required. Fluency in English is necessary, and French language skills are considered a plus.
