The role entails both hands-on technical leadership and people management, guiding teams through complex challenges and mentoring engineers at various career stages.
Successful candidates will have a proven background in software engineering and previous experience as an engineering manager leading high-performing technical teams. Strong expertise in observability frameworks, devops tooling, site reliability engineering (SRE) principles, and cloud infrastructure is essential. Experience working in large-scale, distributed environments and proficiency in communication, stakeholder management, and project delivery are key requirements. Familiarity with healthcare technology, compliance, or European scale-ups is beneficial.
