Engineering Manager - Milan (x/f/m)
Doctolib is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Continuity of Care technology team in Milan. This role involves guiding a team of over five engineers to develop innovative products that enhance the daily lives of healthcare professionals and patients. The Engineering Manager will oversee the team's production, quality, and delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Responsibilities include recruiting, developing, and retaining talent, as well as mentoring team members to foster professional growth. The role also involves setting and exceeding standards for security, reliability, performance, and scalability, and participating in architecture reviews to maintain Doctolib's quality standards.
Candidates should have at least six years of software engineering experience and three years in management roles. Proficiency in backend technologies, particularly Ruby, with a willingness to work with Java and Kotlin, is essential. A strong understanding of code testing, adaptability to efficient technologies, and a track record of developing efficient, maintainable, and secure products are required. Fluency in English is necessary.
