Engineering Manager

Harness is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering Productivity and Quality team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our software delivery processes, ensuring high-quality releases, and driving efficiency across our engineering teams. In this position, you will be responsible for defining and implementing comprehensive automated testing strategies, including functional, system, performance, and security tests. You will establish and enforce quality release criteria, manage a team of engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally to identify and mitigate risks before production releases. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in quality engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role supporting multiple scrum teams. A strong background in automation framework design, continuous integration and deployment practices, and experience with REST/gRPC/gQL API-based products is essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving, are key to success in this role.
