Engineering Leader, Platform

Peregrine Technologies is seeking an Engineering Leader to drive the evolution and scalability of our core platform. This pivotal role involves setting technical direction, building a high-performing team, and establishing operational models that enhance developer velocity and system reliability. As a senior leader, you will directly influence the company's ability to innovate and expand its impact across public safety, government, and enterprise sectors.

Key responsibilities include enabling product teams to deliver features rapidly and confidently, ensuring systems are resilient and production-ready at scale, and fostering an engineering culture that supports sustainable growth. You will translate complex operational data into actionable insights to improve performance and customer outcomes, determining how effectively Peregrine scales both technically and organizationally.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing and scaling large software teams, extensive experience in building and operating distributed systems in production environments, and the ability to operate effectively at both strategic and execution levels. Strong collaboration skills across functions and disciplines, a passion for observability and operational insight, and advocacy for modern engineering practices such as CI/CD and automation are essential.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $282,000 to $363,000 annually, along with benefits, equity options, and potential bonuses. The role requires in-office collaboration four days a week to foster team cohesion and effective communication.
