Engagement Manager
The Engagement Manager at Neo4j leads the implementation of Neo4j technology solutions using traditional, agile, and tailored methodologies. This role involves close collaboration with customers, Neo4j Sales, Sales Engineering, and Professional Services management to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have expertise in database technologies, the software development lifecycle, and experience managing diverse, multi-location teams while embodying Neo4j's values and driving customer success.
Key responsibilities include leading multiple concurrent projects, coordinating teams across onshore and offshore locations, and proactively identifying and addressing project challenges. The Engagement Manager will develop comprehensive project artifacts such as Jira backlogs, weekly reports, risk assessments, and Gantt charts. Ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget, monitoring key performance indicators, and facilitating project close procedures are also essential aspects of the role.
Required qualifications include 5–8+ years of experience managing mid-to-large or complex engagements autonomously, a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field (preferred), and PMP, Agile, or relevant certifications (strongly preferred). Familiarity with Professional Services Automation tools, ideally Certinia, and a demonstrated ability to manage and cultivate consulting teams and customer relationships are also necessary. Strong communication and collaboration skills, along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation abilities, are essential.
The annual on-target earnings range for this position in the United States is $120,000 to $170,000. In addition to this range, U.S. employees are eligible for a stock option grant and certain roles are eligible for an annual bonus. Employees in this position are also eligible to participate in the company's standard benefit programs, which currently include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k), paid time off, and certain leaves of absence.
