Energy Audit Analyst
MetTel is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Energy Audit Analyst to join our team in Holmdel, New Jersey, or New York City. The Energy Audit Analyst will be responsible for analyzing energy usage data to identify trends and inefficiencies, conducting utility billing audits to ensure accuracy and cost-effectiveness, and preparing comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations for improving energy efficiency. Collaborating with clients and internal teams, the analyst will develop and implement strategies to optimize energy use and reduce costs. Additionally, the role involves assessing technical aspects of energy usage, staying informed on industry trends and regulations, and providing support throughout the audit process.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in energy auditing, energy analysis, utility billing audits, or related fields, along with a Bachelor's Degree. Proficiency in negotiating energy rates and holding an Energy Management Certification (e.g., BEP, CEP, CEA, or equivalent) is required. Strong knowledge of energy systems, data analysis techniques, and utility billing practices is essential. The candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, and be proficient in Microsoft Office or similar data analysis tools.
The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000 annually, varying by work location and depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and abilities.
