Electrical Technician - Maintenance
The Electrical Technician - Maintenance role at BESIX involves ensuring the continuous maintenance, reliability, and safe operation of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) assets. This position is critical to preventing equipment failures and supporting operational efficiency within the plant.
Key responsibilities include performing maintenance on STP assets such as screens, wash compactors, grit extraction systems, blowers, aerators, MCC rooms, and control systems. The technician will also carry out tank cleaning activities, overhaul and repair electrical and automation system components, conduct infrared inspections of panels, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with certification from a vocational or trade school preferred. A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role is required, along with strong technical and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
