Electrical Harness Engineer

Helsing, a defense AI company, is seeking an Electrical Harness Engineer to design and validate electrical harnesses for drone platforms and ground systems, ensuring mission-critical reliability in challenging environments. The role involves creating 2D schematics, 3D routed models, and manufacturing drawings for airframes, catapult launch systems, and Ground Control Stations. The engineer will define routing architectures considering vibration, shock, and thermal constraints, select appropriate wire types, shielding, and connectors, and apply EMC-aware design practices. Collaboration with avionics, power electronics, RF/EMC, and mechanical teams is essential, as is managing harness data within PLM systems to maintain configuration control and traceability.
