The ECI Lead at Six Construct, a subsidiary of the BESIX Group, plays a pivotal role in the Early Contractor Involvement phase, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure project developments are validated by the execution team. This position is integral to the company's operations in the Middle East, where Six Construct is recognized as the largest Belgian construction company, specializing in commercial and residential buildings, sports and leisure facilities, infrastructure, and marine-related projects.

Key responsibilities include developing overall project delivery strategies in collaboration with various functions, validating planning, methods, and procurement developed by the team, and leading weekly client and design meetings during the ECI phase. The ECI Lead is also tasked with ensuring a swift project commencement by monitoring deliverables required for an early start, defining procurement strategies, leading negotiations with subcontractors on technical and commercial terms, and participating in client and cost consultant negotiations. Additionally, the role involves developing high-level budgets, leading the estimation process, coordinating ECI deliverables, and preparing technical and commercial proposals to secure the ECI phase.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related construction discipline, along with 12–15 years of experience in large-scale construction projects, preferably as a Technical Manager or Bid Manager. A proven track record in managing multidisciplinary technical teams on complex projects is essential, as well as strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills. Prior experience in the Middle East and a strong knowledge of local authorities are also required.
