Drug Product Technician - Eurofins CDMO Alphora, Inc.
The Drug Product Technician position in Drug Product Operations at Eurofins CDMO Alphora Inc. involves executing GMP clinical manufacturing operations, including the production of oral drug products and operation of compression and powder handling equipment. This role is integral to ensuring compliance with GMP systems within the Drug Product Operations department.
Key responsibilities include operating automated equipment such as rotary tableting, granulation, blending, milling, spray drying, encapsulation, and coating. The technician will perform all aspects of GMP oral drug product manufacturing, including sampling, compounding, process technologies, and packaging. Additional duties encompass supporting warehouse operations, revising or drafting SOPs, protocols, and batch records, and maintaining the GMP status of the manufacturing facility through equipment and facility cleaning, environmental monitoring, and daily system verifications.
Candidates should possess a degree or diploma in a related discipline and have 2-5 years of laboratory experience, with essential experience in drug product testing. Direct work experience in cleanroom and laboratory environments is required, along with the ability to perform physically demanding, repetitive tasks for extended periods.
