Drug Discovery Specialist - Freelance AI Trainer Project

The Drug Discovery Specialist role is a freelance position within the AI Trainer Project at Invisible Agency, focusing on enhancing large-scale language models to advance scientific discovery. This remote opportunity is based in the Philippines and offers a chance to contribute to the development of AI systems that can democratize education and streamline laboratory work for scientists worldwide.

Key responsibilities include engaging with advanced language models on topics such as ligand–receptor interactions, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, in silico docking studies, assay development, chemical libraries, biomarker identification, and preclinical candidate evaluation. The specialist will document model failures to improve reasoning and suggest enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

Candidates should possess a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, pharmacology, or a closely related life-science field. Experience in peer-reviewed publications, lab-based discovery research, or applied computational chemistry projects is highly desirable. Clear, metacognitive communication skills are essential for this role.

The position offers a pay range of $8 to $65 per hour, with the exact rate determined based on experience, expertise, and geographic location.
