Document Control Specialist
The Document Control Specialist at Voyager Technologies, Inc. plays a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the company's documented information in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards. This position is integral to the Quality team and is based on-site in Penrose, Colorado. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing document control procedures that align with ISO 9001:2015 Clause 7.5, overseeing the entire document lifecycle from creation to archiving, and ensuring proper version control and traceability of all engineering, quality, and project documents. The specialist will also standardize templates and numbering systems, liaise with various departments to ensure timely document submission and approval, and provide training on document control procedures.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Information Management, or a related field, along with 3–7 years of experience in document control within engineering, manufacturing, or construction environments. Experience working within an ISO 9001-certified organization is essential. Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements, familiarity with document management systems, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills are also required.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $75,000–$110,000, depending on experience, skills, and location.
