District Manager
As a District Manager at Public Storage, you will oversee a portfolio of multi-unit locations, ensuring operational excellence and delivering exceptional customer experiences. In this position, you will be responsible for recruiting, motivating, and retaining a team of customer-facing hourly front-line employees. Your duties include managing physical assets, overseeing repair and maintenance systems, vendor management, and ensuring cleanliness standards. You will also oversee delinquent tenant processes, including auctions, and conduct monthly property audits to ensure operational standards and safety compliance are met.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership experience in building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams of non-exempt employees in a retail, service, hospitality, or related industry. A proven track record of top-tier performance, experience managing operational audits and payroll budgets, and exceptional communication and time management skills are essential. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and a passion for sales and customer service excellence are also required. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Public Storage offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a first-year annual total compensation opportunity of $116,000, which includes base salary, guaranteed quarterly bonuses, and restricted stock units.
