District Manager
As a District Manager at Public Storage, you will oversee a portfolio of multi-unit locations, ensuring operational excellence and exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include recruiting, motivating, and retaining a team of customer-facing employees. You will manage physical assets by overseeing repair and maintenance systems, vendor relationships, and cleanliness standards. Additionally, you will handle delinquent tenant processes, including auctions, and conduct monthly property audits to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership experience in building and developing high-performing teams within the retail, service, or hospitality industries. A proven track record of top-tier performance, experience managing operational audits and payroll budgets, and exceptional communication and time management skills are essential. Proficiency in MS Office and a passion for sales and customer service excellence are also required. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Compensation for this role includes a first-year annual total compensation opportunity of $128,000, comprising base salary, guaranteed quarterly bonuses, and restricted stock units. In the second year, there is potential for a performance-based bonus increase of up to $20,000.
