District Manager
As a District Manager at Public Storage, you will oversee a portfolio of multi-unit locations, ensuring operational excellence and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Key responsibilities include recruiting, motivating, and retaining a team of customer-facing hourly employees. You will manage physical assets by overseeing repair and maintenance systems, vendor management, and ensuring cleanliness standards. Additionally, you will conduct monthly property audits to ensure operational standards and safety compliance are met. Addressing customer inquiries promptly and professionally is also a critical aspect of the role.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership experience in building and developing high-performing teams within the retail, service, hospitality, or related industries. A proven track record of top-tier performance, experience managing operational audits and payroll budgets, and exceptional communication and time management skills are essential. Proficiency in MS Office applications and a passion for sales and customer service excellence are also required. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Compensation for this position includes an annual total compensation award opportunity ranging from $112,000 to $128,000, which encompasses base salary, guaranteed quarterly bonuses, and restricted stock units. Additional benefits include participation in the company stock program with quarterly dividends, comprehensive group healthcare programs, a 401(k) plan with a generous employer match, paid time off, and a Monday through Friday work schedule.
