District Manager
As a District Manager at Public Storage, you will oversee a portfolio of multi-unit locations, ensuring operational excellence and exceptional customer experiences. This role offers the opportunity to lead and develop a dedicated team while driving sales and implementing company strategies.
Your primary responsibilities will include recruiting, motivating, and retaining a team of customer-facing hourly front-line employees. You will provide effective communication and coaching on customer service and sales strategies. Additionally, you will manage physical assets, oversee repair and maintenance systems, coordinate with vendors, and ensure cleaning standards are met. Conducting monthly property audits and ensuring compliance with operational standards and safety regulations are also key aspects of this role.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership in building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams in a retail, service, hospitality, or related industry. A proven track record of top-tier performance, experience managing operational audits and payroll budgets, and exceptional communication and time management skills are essential. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and a passion for sales and customer service excellence are also required. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Compensation for this position includes an annual total compensation award opportunity of $128,000, comprising base salary, guaranteed quarterly bonuses, and restricted stock units. In the second year, there is potential for a performance-based bonus increase of up to $20,000.
